Growing up in New Jersey, on a Jersey shore, living outside in New York and

watching these big sailboats go up and down the Hudson River and now living in

upstate New York near the finger lakes and seeing people out on the lakes with

their boats. I've always admired it. It's something I've always loved

that I wish I could learn that skill. That looks like a lot of fun. Well,

today we have with us a gentleman who teaches, lives, breathes, sailing. He's the

author of the book, Sailing Into Oblivion, host of the podcast and YouTube as

well as other social media sailing into oblivion. Jerome ran, welcome to Pop

pleasure. Jerome, I've read your bio and I've looked at your social media. Where

did this passion start? Reading about you, it's almost like you were born to do

that you were born into this. When did this start? Well, I actually, unlike many

sailors who really dive right in, I started pretty late. It wasn't until I was

about 18 years old and I grew up in Northern Michigan. There's a lot of little
