My name is Bonnie Curry, and I'm grateful you've decided to join me for this special story called

Safely in His Hands.

Tonight, we'll get to meet Elizabeth Elliott, who was a missionary in eastern Ecuador, and eventually became a renowned author and speaker.

We'll hear about her life's journey through the lens of God's provision, even though it will

seem at times like Elizabeth was left to wander through life alone.

We will focus on a beautiful and reassuring passage of scripture found in john chapter 10

verses 27 through 30 it says my sheep hear my voice and i know them and they follow me i give them

eternal life and they will never perish,

and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all,

and no one is able to snatch them out of the father's hand.

I and the father are one.

Let those words sink in for a moment as you settle into bed and make yourself comfortable.
