Steve Sarkisian recently said on the Pivot Podcast that Nick Sabin saved his career

by offering him an analyst's role at Alabama after Sark had gotten fired at USC and then

had to go to rehab.

Now, many will say this was just a smart move by Sabin because he could get an incredible

football mind for a cheap price and Sabin would have all the leverage.

You know what?

You wouldn't be wrong, but you are missing the bigger picture.

This gesture is just a microcosm of one of the main reasons why Sabin has been so successful.

He's a people person.
