On August 16, 2005, in the West Campus area of Austin, Texas, 21-year-old Jennifer Cave goes out to the bar with a friend to celebrate the fact that she was going to start a new job the next day.

But Jennifer never showed up to work that Monday morning.

Two days later, her mutilated body was discovered by her family and an apartment belonging to the very same friend that she went out for drinks with.

In fact, her friend Colton Pataniac even confessed to her murder on the stand at his own trial.
