Stage 9 today we are in Tini.

I personally feel that there is a race going on and I can say I am really content and happy

and I can always actually think about it more and be proud about being up there with

the top guys in the Tour de France right now. It gives you confidence and it makes me believe

that by the end of these three weeks good things will come.

We played in there with the oral equivalent of a famous Twitter meme how it started, how

it's going for Ben O'Connor because we heard a snippet of his audio diary from last night

and then we heard the crowd cheering. Kate and I were standing one and a half clumsies

from the finish. We heard the crowd cheering as they rode past on his way to the stage

when in team today and climbed all the way up to second overall. At one point he was

a virtual maillot jaunee, a fantastic performance from him today. We'll be talking about that

in tonight's episode of course. I'm with Francois Thomas-O.

We're in a small village called Lemazure. It's funny because Lemazure in French means

kind of a derelict house and the house where we are is everything but derelicts. There's

a great place owned by a friend of the part of Simon Lund and we've been there several

times. There's a third time here. Simon very kindly put this up on three occasions. Sadly

he can't be here tonight because he's stuck in the UK and it's very difficult to travel

at the moment but he has looked after us very well as he always has done. The fridges

fully stock the oven is full and with some roast lamb shoulder in there so look forward
