Of course with the pandemic closing restaurants in Britain, it wasn't possible to meet face-to-face.

So just before Christmas and only a few days after it was confirmed that Rod would be returning

to Ineos Grenadeers after a year running the Bahrain McLaren team, I called Rod at his

home in the Peak District.
