There's a series of forums that I've been frequenting since the creation of the website

that they're hosted on, Reddit.com. These forums vary in everything from recipes to true crime cases.

And of course, there is an entire subreddit, which is what the forums are called,

dedicated to our one and only Chandler Holderson. I noticed that there were a couple of people

posting on that website, on that forum, claiming to be ex-romantic lovers of Chandler.

I reached out to the two or three accounts and offered the chance to do an interview with these

people and all three of those fell through the cracks. I got no response after one or two messages

back. Then in November of 2023, which shows just how long we've been on this case, I put out an open call for anyone who knew Chandler and would be open for an interview to contact me.

I had our email address and a little bit of information about the podcast.

I did not get any bites. Then in May of 2024, someone made a post on that forum titled, quote,

So I was Chandler's Bunky in Dane County Jail.

The post went on to say, quote,

I know I'm going to regret this,

but if you have anything within reason you want to ask semi-constructively,

I have no delusions about this being Reddit and all,

about my jail bestie, I'll answer.

I do, however, reserve the right to remain silent.

That last acronym apparently means a laughing, but very serious.

with five pictures of various jail correspondence with Chandler
