I'm John Bachelor, Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran is non-transparent, but there is much we can say about its

conduct and its expectations in these critical hours. Bill Rajos, Foundation for the Defense of Democracy,

senior fellow joins me, and we're very pleased to welcome Miat Maliki, senior fellow at the FD,

former official at the U.S. Treasury.

Miata, a very good evening to you. Let us begin with what we know right now.

Over these last hours, Iran is claiming through its spokesperson, the Iran media,

and that is being picked up by overseas reporting such as Al-Dzirah that it has fired missiles at a U.S.

Navy frigate.

It claimed in the early report that it struck the frigate.

That is not the case, says Sencom.

Since then, there have been missiles flying back and forth across the Straits of

Ramos and the Persian Gulf. Some of those missiles

have struck UAE port facilities. Some of them have struck vessels at those port facilities. Some one

or more of the missiles and or drones have struck a Korean vessel that is reported burning. This is fog of war.

We have no clarity here.

This is happening very fast, and it's dark in the combat theater.

Also reporting, the U.S. Navy has launched helicopter attacks on small boats.

We can presume they're the IRGC votes.

Big picture here is everything's moving around. The President of the United

States has made remarks that if Iran fires at a U.S. Navy vessel, he will retaliate, end of the

ceasefire. To our reporting, they have fired on a U.S. Navy vessel, but that was then. This is now.
