I'm John Bachelor, Bill Rajo, Senior Fellow for the Foundation for Defense of Democracy,

my colleague and co-host,

and we're very pleased, as we have been for weeks now during the wars in the Middle East,

wars to welcome Jonathan Saya of the Foundation for Defense of Democracy,

who understand how the Iranian people in Tehran, a very large city, and in the countryside,

and in the other cities that surround Tehran, how they're faring under the bombing campaign,

now in a ceasefire mode, under the threats by the administration in Washington, now in a ceasefire mode,

and also by the persecution, brutality, sadism, mass murder of the regime in Tehran.

The Iranian people are struggling with bombing launched by the U.S. and Israel.

At the same time, they're struggling with the attacks by the U.S. and Israel, at the same time, they're struggling with the

attacks by the Islamic regime.

Jonathan, the most vivid image you gave us last time, it was very helpful for me in passing

on your information to my colleagues, was that the besiege, I believe, was taking driving tours at night in Tehran

and firing at buildings that were believed to be sponsoring, chanting on the roof.

I think I have that correct.

Just randomly shooting at the building, driving by.

Has that continued?

Has that accelerated?

Are the besieged now brutalizing

people in those buildings? Good day to you, Jonathan. Good day to you, and it's great to be on.

So the latest wave of repression that we've seen is actually in the form of executions and arrests.

So now the numbers, I think, are as highest ever, I think, ever recorded.
