I'm John Batchler. Behind the black, Bob Zimman is here to take us to the moon and Mars, thanks to a presentation by the new administrator of NASA, Mr. Isaacman, and a surprise, Isaacman listened to Bob all these years and he's done the right thing. I believe. Bob, isn't it wonderful, do you have a man who has very keen on exactly the lines you've been developing for decades?

I wish I could take credit for this, but no.

And in fact, in some ways, Isaacman showed himself to be smarter than me in his proposal.

So late last week, earlier this week, when I was late last week, he announced a major, major

restructuring of NASA's major programs.

And let me go through them.

First, the moon program.

He basically has announced he is, quote, pausing lunar gateway, which really defines he is dumping it. He is ending

that gateway project. That was a space station that was going to be in orbit around the moon,

which SLS and Orion would use as a waste station before landing on the moon. From day one,

and this is where you're right, John, from day one I've been saying, and I'm not the only one, that this is a stupid idea.

It was actually going to slow down development of a lunar base, make it harder to get to

the moon, cost us more, and be a problem.

And in fact, Eisenman, in his announcement of this, his people noted that both SpaceX and Blue Origin, they're making the

man lunar orbiters, landers, I'm sorry, were both saying, please, get rid of Lunar Gateway.

The orbit it's in is a problem for us. It makes things more dangerous and costly and slows

things down. And so his new lunar program, his eliminated lunar gateway,

instead, he announced a three-phase developmental program focusing on the surface of the moon.

If you're going to build a lunar base, rather than stick in orbit and watch others go to the
