I'm John Batchel with my friend Joseph Sternberg, London, Kirstarmer, in wartime. You say that Britain's not

involved in the Middle Eastern, tangled either in Iran or Lebanon. An Iranian missile fired towards the

Chagos Islands, an Iranian missile that can range now, according to that distance, Paris and Britain.

Iranian missiles fired at the British base in Cyprus.

A warship, however old and not well put together, travels out to Cyprus to protect it from Iranian provocations.

All this adds up to Kirstarmer at war, or is he?

What is the general impression of London of Kirstarmer and these?

They're not threats, they're possibility of threats.

John, one of the weird things that's going on in the UK right now is that we're at a time

of maximal global tension.

And as you pointed out, that

ballistic missile attempted attack on the Czechos Islands reminded Europeans that they are, in fact,

in range of weapons that the Iranians may have. And yet it can be startlingly easy here in the

United Kingdom to forget that Kirstarmer is the prime minister,

which is not really a good look for your leader at a time like this. And I think it's because

this crisis, to the extent that it is an international crisis, is particularly ill-suited

for Kier-Starmer's skill set.

He tends to be very deliberative, very wishy-washy.

He struggles to make decisions.

He's very much hostage to the more extreme elements of his center-left labor party.

So, you know, I think a fair question to ask at the start is, where is Kier-Starmer?

He gives press statements every once in a while.
