Well, I'm not sure, you know, I'm not privy, I don't have any insight information about what's been offered.

But you have a fundamental problem I've written about this in several columns over the last year or two.

If you tip over this regime, say you somehow pull out Diaz Canal like you pulled out Maduro.

You still have a structure there where all the bad guys are the ones

with the guns and the access to money and so forth. And all the eight and a half million people

who live there have nothing and have no way to fight back. So one problem that the U.S. has is

if they offer Diaz Canal and exit, they have to have a plan in place for some kind of structure that will keep order so you don't just descend in this utter chaos.
