This is John Batchel, conversation with Andrea Stricker of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

Chemical weapons are weapons of mass destruction as well, and there's concern not only that Iran has a chemical weapons storage,

that Iran has already used chemical weapons, the allegation goes, against its protesters, accounting for the thousands

reported KIA. But chemical weapons by Iran have been distributed to their surrogates throughout the region.

Andrea gives us what we know and what we can assume right now about the threat of chemical weapons. Much more of

this tonight. Israel is concerned because they have found indications of preparing for chemical

weapons, either attacks or something in response to chemical weapons use among Hezbollah.

And then they've also seen some evidence from Syria and Iraq where they think that Iran may have transferred pharmaceutical-based agents, such as like fentanyl and other analogs, for test use against these populations.

And I guess while there's no conclusive evidence,

there are indications based on the symptoms of the victims of those attacks.

And so Jerusalem has really had to prepare accordingly if Iran's terrorist proxies plan to use them, such as an October 7th style attack.
