This is John Batchel, a conversation with my colleague Bob Zimmerman about SLS.

Laid again, losing the march window entirely for the test that is going to go around the moon in preparation for landing on the moon.

We're told 28 or by the time President Trump leaves office, January of 29.

However, there is the question about who's pushing this rocket that is not functioning well.

Isaacman, Jared Isaacman, the new NASA administrator, is uncomfortable.

So who wants this to happen?

Yeah, you know, John, you're right.

Isaacman is stuck with SLS and O'R.

And he had to make promises to Congress to support it in order to get confirmed.

But he doesn't like it.

He's made it clear.

He doesn't like it.

He's even made it clear when he first talked about getting this launch off.

He says this is the rocket with the slowest launch rate of anything NASA's ever built, once every two to three years.

And we need to move on past it.

He's already said that.

And he's aware of the Orion Heat Shield

problem and he's concerned about it. So he's stuck with this and he's not happy about it. And I have

theorized that he wants to make it clear to everyone the problems of SLS. And he's willing to let SLS
