made by the very prominent Ken Griffin, the CEO of Citadel,

at a gathering at Davos following the election of Donald Trump.

Mr. Griffin said that Trump's election brought an end to what Mr. Griffin described as

regulatory onslaught.

That's a good thing, but at the same time, and in the same paragraph,

Veronique says that the administration's tariff policies is not for growth.

So we have a push and pull here, and the essay doesn't come to a conclusion that's

happy because growth being the positive has all these doubts that are injected by the Trump

administration. Veronique, a very good evening to you. Ken Griffin says that regulatory onslaught is over. Is that

accurate or is that aspirational? Good evening to you. No, no. Good evening, John. I think it's

hard to overstate how companies, especially tech companies, but all companies felt under the Biden

administration where they were regulations all over the place

constantly.

You never knew where it was going to come from.

That created uncertainty.

And it was just kind of this deep feeling that more regulations were always coming.
