and we're very pleased to usher in to our conversation. Judy Dempsey,

a senior scholar for the Carnegie Endowment of International Peace. Judy is in Berlin. She's then a veteran

journalist of the FT and other distinguished publications, has traveled all of the EU and the Middle East,

but right now we're concentrating on the EU because of headlines, again,

that suggests we're at a critical juncture in the Ukrainian war that has beggared the people of Ukraine,

burdened the people of Eastern Europe, and is a constant quandary for the leaders of the

EU and of NATO at the same time. Judy, a very good day to you. I come to two headlines in

particular. NATO's led by a man named Rudy, the general secretary. He is meeting Zelensky,

President Zelensky, in Kiev, again in Keefe, again in Keefe.
