I'm John Batchel with my colleague and friend Gregory Copley of Defense and Foreign Affairs. Venezuela.

I'm told there are four families, mob families, crime families, not relatives, that are important right now in Caracas, following the abduction and kidnapping, detaining, arresting of Maduro and his wife.

First, there's Dulce Rodriguez and her brother Jorge.

Dulce is now the acting president, blessed by the Supreme Court, former vice president.

Her brother is ahead of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodriguez.

And that is one crowd that have the apparatus of the Constitution. Then there is

Dostalo Cabello, the man of the Interior Ministry, those of the police and the authorities

with the guns on the streets. Then we have the chief military officer, Padrina Lopez. He has guns,

too, but that's the army. And then we finally have what left decapitated Maduro crowd

with many elements of narco-terrorist gangs, well-armed, sophisticated, living by the

Columbia border, moving product all the time, and revenging themselves

against others. Four families in charge of one country. Now, the Roman method would be to let them

at each other and then pick the winner on the basis of who stabs last. But there is no right now

statement as to what the U.S. is going to do except for

continue the embargo of Venezuelan oil pending the regime obeying the President of the United

States. For example, he has ordered that no more oil is to go to Cuba.

Gregory, your measure of how this works out because the Venezuelan people who have been waiting

for liberation for, well, decades are impatient and puzzled as to what the plan is.
