Hello again to everybody at the Cycling Podcast. It's Nathan Hasse again, recording from

the Coffittist team bus again so I do apologise for the background noise banging, clattering,

talking coffee machines going off. It's all happening in here. So after a stage like yesterday,

what can we really say? It was just one of those days where you get cold to the bone and you

feel like you spend the rest of the night actually trying to get your cold temperature back up to

where it needs to be. Everyone's looking at you like you might have a fever because you're walking

around a heated restaurant with a coffee jacket and a hood and basically everything that you own

sock wires around your feet just to try to get some blood flow back. But yeah yesterday was not

expected in my mind from when I looked at the the met you're to see if it was going to be as cold

and as well as it was kind of kind of surprised everyone just how hectic it got but there you have it

that's the zero in October. Nice way to book in the year with a big slab to the face but

um we got through and we had a guy from our team in the breakaway fight valiantly. He was a

Jasper Hanson our Danish rider and maybe he actually didn't find a cold. I think these Danish riders

seem to love it and you know I think if Matt's pettison was at the race yesterday he probably would

have won by 10 minutes. There's that kind of a day. It was like you actually last year actually the same

same ish kind of cold conditions and crosswinds and all that kind of crap but you know

finishing up the day was a place where we even got onto the bus. It was funny I stepped in and

then Simone can suddenly come in and he literally kissed the floor of the bus because he was so happy

to be somewhere safe and wall. I think it was one of those days that had everyone on their limit but

you know the juror goes on and today's now stage 13 and it's a funny old stage it's sort of
