believe the politicians are looking to undermine, along with their media colleagues, the

credibility of the Crown. But here, Gregory, very much calls attention to the Crown's duties,

which is to represent the state, not the government, the state,

and welcome the President of Germany to Britain and to a state affair.

For example, the King is welcoming Frank Walters Steinmeier, the German president, on the third state visit by a foreign head of state this year.

So this is going to be very significant.

And he'll address a joint session of Parliament.

So that's going to be on Thursday.

So that's the first time a German head of state has done that since 1998.

So it's very profoundly important.

And the King is at the forefront of these positive events, which are not marred by grubby

politics. And as the Times said about Mrs. Reeves, Miss Reeves, not bound by up in lies.

So he's looking very strong in that regard.
