can you give us a quick update on developments in Iraq and Iran? Very important. There was an

election in Iraq and the pro-Iran militias seem to be the big winners there.

The preliminary results show that armed militias and their political fronts have consolidated

power, the coordination framework, which is the umbrella that brings together the arms

of Iran-aligned militias, got 119 seats. And the overall parliamentary block of the

CFs jumped to 165, which is unprecedented political weight. And it shows the political dominance of

Iran-aligned forces in Iraq. And this, of course, has become a source of great consternation.

American officials today

said that they may have to take action if the Iraqi government doesn't about the growing role

of the militias and the threats that they pose to our allies and to American troops. And they are

linked to U.S. designated terrorist organizations, which are holding now parliamentary authority.

So it's a very disturbing development.

Yemen, Malcolm, the Houthis have momentarily taken another turn, but I'm not sure where they are.

What is the opinion? Right now, it seems

that Iran is losing control over the Houthis in Yemen, and there are fractures within the proxy

network that Iran has, and especially because they're still pouring billions to Chisbalah and

Hamas, but they're not giving money to others, and they themselves domestically

are facing tremendous problems with shortage of electricity, water food. So some groups in Iraq are

also acting as if they had not had previous contact. But the Houthis have become the most

critical remaining proxy force of Iran.
