He keeps the Long War Journal. Highly recommended to follow the story of the jihad. As in many

iterations, it is threatening to allies of the U.S., to the citizens of Europe, certainly to everyone who were watching the story unfold in D.C.,

there are questions that connect to the jihad.

The alleged shooter in D.C. was trained to fight the jihad once upon a time.

We don't know more.

The jihad is underway, however, in many areas of the world that

here tofore have been considered in ceasefire, none more active than Lebanon. And we welcome our

colleague David D'Ude of the Foundation for Defense of Democracy, who keeps the very careful watch,

especially on Hisbalah, a very large and well-armed

once-upon-a-time organization that has subdued the government of Lebanon, the UN's ability

to project authority into Lebanon, the whole region over these many decades.

Hezbollah was a major component of the war in Syria, the civil war in Syria, with

massacres.

Hezbollah is not in any fashion retired, but it's very difficult to see, which is why I follow

David's reporting so carefully.

We're going to begin, however, not with Hezbollah's random actions in the Baccah,

but with the death of a man named Tabitabai in these last days. Who was he? Why did Israel identify him for targeted killing? What does it mean that he's gone?
