Summary

In this week's podcast Richard Moore and Daniel Friebe discuss the time trials at the UCI world championships in Imola and look back at the Tour de France, won by Tadej Pogacar a week ago in Paris.

Daniel justifies his "four wine glass" rating for this year's delayed Tour, and asks whether this is the start of the Pog dynasty, or a one off, when he was able to ride on the coat-tails of Jumbo-Visma, pipping his fellow Slovenian just 48 hours from the end.

We hear from Richie Porte, voted the Tour's Pédaleur de Charme by our listeners, and also from his Trek-Segafredo teammate Mads Pedersen, whose spell in the rainbow jersey of world champion will come to an end in Imola on Sunday. Due to the pause in racing, thanks to coronavirus, Pedersen hasn't worn the jersey in as many races as he would have liked but he is sanguine about that and preferred to reflect on the honour of being able to wear it at all.
