In Europe, this is the Financial Times, the pink paper out of London that is very trustworthy

for European businessmen and bankers.

How the EU botched its attempt to regulate AI goes the big read. Subhead,

can Brussels balance its desire to set the guardrails for tech with its need to attract investment?

And then I go to a headline from the U.S. side, Trump weighs executive order targeting state AI laws.

Subhead, the White House initiative comes as Congress weighs a measure that would preempt state

AI regulations. Kevin, I thank you very much for joining. You were my guide. You were out front

on this. You were like holding a lamp

and said, John, this is going to be a problem. Well, I hope it vindicates everyone who ever doubted.

It's a problem. The EU and the White House are in disagreement. Congress is going towards

regulation and legislation. The states we already have discussed, especially California and Illinois,

blue states, are going for their own regulation. And I would say at this time, no one's in charge.

What is the worry? What's the concern? What's wrong with regulation? And what's good about it?
