At the same time, we're here to celebrate the American economy because here in midsummer, it looks

positive, very positive. I hold back from a stronger word because I'm superstitious.

Liz, a very good evening to you. Yes, they're not working in Paris. They have their Bastille Day,

but we're working here in America, especially small businesses, which I've been trained to believe

is the future of America. All the hiring happens in small businesses. All the future

magnates start with small businesses. And the anecdotes and the statistics show that small business

is doing very well. Is that reflected in your measure of what is reported to the American people,

John. I think that small business owners are relieved that the tariff threat that was such a

prominent issue a year ago has abated. There's certainly got to be cheered by the fact that

prices overall, as measured by the CPI, are coming down. And of course,
