In Ankara, NATO not only delivered the president saying he would transfer the IP and the makings of Patriot missile systems to Ukraine with assistance from the U.S., but also Germany promised 50,000 drones of very high quality.

I'm told capable of swarm technology, which means the last

kilometer or so to the target, the drones or put the humans out of the kill chain and take over.

Those are very, very, very high end. That is all to support Ukraine. As NATO changed its mind, did something happen? Did somebody drop a dime and I didn't pick it up? What happened?

I think what has happened, John, is suddenly the Europeans have decided that the Ukrainians are a security contributor as opposed to security consumer.

Because if you look at long term, if you're a

European, you say the United States is moving farther and farther away, we need to achieve

strategic autonomy. What country has the largest, most veteran army on the continent? Hello, it's

Ukraine. Which army has the most experience in the employment of drones, which are going to be key and essential in terms of warfare and future? Which army has the most knowledge about the use of robots, either on the sea or on the ground in terms of future combat? It's Ukraine. They now have become a force contributor. And your illustration of Germany is just one. We know that the Ukrainians have signed

drone deals as well with the Netherlands and with several other European countries, Denmark, Estonia.

We know the Ukrainians have signed deals to sell drones to some of the Gulf Arabs in the aftermath

of the war in Iran. And these are not only attack drones to hit ground targets.
