with John Hardy of FD watching Ukraine War, but right now on the eve of the NATO meeting in

anchor at Turkey, the Financial Times, the pink paper out of London, has remade its headlines

with information from NATO. Headline, NATO backs Ukraine's push to hit Russia harder,

says the Finnish president. You will all recall Finland is a new member of NATO since the war.

Alexander Stubb tells F.T. that long-range drone strikes have changed the U.S. views on the war

and put Keefe in the best position since 2022. Attended to that is this new headline since

eight hours ago. Lukashenko, that is the dictator on boss of Belarus, says Belarus

will not join Putin's war in Ukraine. There is a

lengthy column by Gideon Rockman, the chief foreign correspondent as well, leading with pictures of

Petersburg and a burning oil terminal and Moscow of ration lines for gasoline, for petrol, and shortages everywhere.

Mr. Hardy, a very good evening to you. We're on the eve of NATO. Do you sense a change in the

weather at NATO about supporting Mr. Zelensky and his need for more air defense and more money?

Good evening to you. Thanks for having me back on the show.

Certainly, as we've discussed in recent weeks on your show, the trends have been looking up for

Ukraine in many areas, and I think that has started to resonate with the Trump administration

as well. We saw this in the warm exchanges President Trump had with had with his Ukrainian European counterparts at the recent G7 a few weeks ago.

And we've seen it in some of the commentary by President Trump and other administration officials, including most recently VP Vance.

Basically, just acknowledging that Ukraine now has more so-called cards than perhaps the White

House initially assumed.
