Here on Pites for Jack, we're reading our way to the works of C.S. Lewis.

But this month, we are focusing on Lewis's master master George McDonald. And you can hear from that

opening quotation the praise with which Lewis lavishes McDonald. And today we're digging

into his theology. And to help guide us through it, we are joined by Dr. Kerry Dearborn.

Dr. Kerry Dearborn completed her BA at Whitman College, her MA at Fuller Theological Seminary,

and her PhD at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.

She taught theology at Seattle Pacific University, between 1994 and 2016, where she became a

full professor and is now Professor Emerita.

She also taught for full of seminary

extension in Seattle and at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is the author

of Drinking from the Wells of New Creation, the Holy Spirit and the Imagination in Reconciliation,

and Baptised Imagination, the theology of George Mac McDonald, along with various book chapters and

journal articles. She's been married for 52 years to Tim Dearborn, and they have three daughters
