In all these cases, Paul and Jesus are attacking the scribes and Pharisees who are acting a certain way

foolishly because they believe something wrong. So in that case, it's not an isolated, you know,

indictment of anger. And like you said, he's not attacking the person. See, if you talk to people,

and we see people this way today, guys who grew up

with overbearing father or have a father wound today or girls who have an overbearing mother

done, what they'll say is, when I was growing up, my dad or mom would say, you're an idiot.

You're a fool. You're no good. You see what I'm saying? The emphasis is you. Instead of saying

this, you're acting like a fool. You're acting like a goof or whatever. There's a difference

between who you are and what you're doing. And if you're parent, you got to remember this. Don't

ever tell your kids they are because you label them and it's very, very hard from your voice

and authority in their life to grow out of that easily.

So Jesus is basically calling out the action.

He's calling out the belief.

You're believing.
