Welcome, everyone. Here on Pines with Jack, we're working our way through the works of C.S. Lewis. I'm Matt, and I am joined by my lovely co-host, Andrew and David.

This season, we find ourselves among the stars, reading through the first of C.S. Lewis's

Space Science Trilogy, Ransom Trilogy, out of the Silent Planet.

Guys, I'm very excited for this chapter.

I've interviewed two people in preparation for this season and for some after

hours episode to have written books on this.

And both of them have mentioned in their books the incredible importance of

chapter five, like really this period four,

five, and six

of what Lewis is doing in this book.

And so from that alone, I hope you guys are ready for a lot of wisdom,

spiritual truth, beautiful stuff in this chapter five, particularly.

But then also the language.

Again, Dr. Glyer, I don't know if she's coming out before this or after this, but she mentioned out there's so much.
