Welcome, everyone, here on Pints with Jack, we're reading our way through the works of C.S. Lewis.

But, as you can already imagine from the episode title, this is an after-hours episode with

an incredible guest.

And I'm really looking forward to this because I've

always probably now in hindsight wrongly stated that I'm very drawn to truth. And that's a

great thing. But there's something beyond truth that we're going to be discussing today.

And that could be the real or reality. And you saw that in the

quote that I mentioned. That's what truth is about. And so I'm looking forward to this conversation

greatly, but before welcoming our guest on the show, a little bit of a background.

Dr. Charlie W. Starr is an associate professor of English at Alderson Broadus University in West Virginia.

He teaches, writes, and lectures on classic in American literature, film, theology, and on the works of

C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Dr. Starr is the world's leading expert on the writing of C.S. Lewis, and he is the

author of many essays, articles, and books about Lewis, including the Fawns Bookshelf Light,

and the work which we'll be talking about today, the Lions Country. Dr. Charlie Starr,
