Welcome back to the Strong Women podcast, you guys. I'm so glad you're here. Here is the topic we're

going to tackle today. Work and women. My guest today is Jen Ashman. And Jen has four adult daughters.

I have, I guess you would say two adult daughters and one that's a junior in high school. So I'm like just entering this phase.

And there's so many questions that we have as women, but especially in those early 20s, where we're

like, okay, I want to be open to family, but I should pursue education and a career. And like, what does that look like to be

open and also engaged with where God has me? And that's the thing I want to talk to Jen about,

because not only will this minister to our girls that are in this age and stage of life,

but I think it will really impact us as well as women just trying to

live faithfully in the corners of the world that God has placed us. Well, let me tell you a little bit

about Jen. Jen has been in vocational ministry for over two decades and three continents,

you guys. She's an author, a Bible teacher, a podcaster, focusing on the intersection of culture and Christianity.

She also directs the women's ministry in her local church.

She is also pursuing a master's of theological studies and is the mother, like I said, of four young adult daughters and her family lives in Colorado.

They're a little bit north of where I am.

And they planted a church called Redemption Parker.

They planted that church nine years ago.

So, Jen, we need to give you some more jobs to do, more hats to wear.

Like, that's not enough.
