Good morning everyone. Pints for Jack is your weekly favourite C.S. Lewis podcast where together with

Matt and Andrew, we break down and discuss the works of C.S. Lewis. Now, as we wrap up the final month of

this season of episodes, I wanted to talk about someone we've spoken about before on our various

YouTube episodes, and that person is Jordan Peterson, the Canadian clinical psychologist, author, and speaker.

So you might be wondering, why talk about him on a show devoted to the inklings?

Well, I'm sure I'm not the first person who's pointed out a certain quality to Dr. Peterson,

which reminds them of a pre-conversion CS Lewis. Dr. Peterson speaks regularly about certain topics,

which were also important to Lewis. I mean, although the pre-conversion

Lewis regarded myth as lies breathe through silver, Dr. Peterson sees them as vehicles of truth,

pregnant with meaning. And so in order to do a deep dive into the thought of Dr. Peterson,

today we're going to be joined not by one, but by two guides. So don't be surprised if this

episode runs a little longer than usual. And our guides today are two professors from Loyola

Marymont University, Dr Christopher Kaisal and Dr. Matthew Petrusik. Dr. Christopher Kaisal graduated from

the Honours Program of Boston College and earned a PhD four years later from the University
