Well, good morning, everyone, or good evening whenever you're listening to Pines with Check.

This is, of course, your favorite weekly C.S. Lewis podcast where, together with David and Matt,

we break down and discuss the works of C.S. Lewis. After finishing our season-long look at The Four Loves, we enjoyed

ecumenism month, apologetics month, and for the past few weeks we've had a severe mercy

month where Matt and I read and discussed that famous book by Sheldon Van Aachen.

And today, we wrap up the series by speaking to a man who wrote the biography of Sheldon Van Aachen,

Pastor Will Voss.

Let me give you a little information about Will.

He was born in Sleepy Hollow, New York, grew up in La Jolla, California, and he and his wife,

Becky, have been married since 1988 and have three grown sons.

His own father was Jim Voss, former organized crime wiretapper, who came to personal faith

in Jesus Christ through the ministry of Billy Graham in 1949, and Will I bet we could

probably have a whole episode just on your dad.

We could.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of California, San Diego, a fellow UC grad, and has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, where I hear the buildings look like they're from Oxford.

He served in churches across the United States and is currently the pastor of

First Congregational Church of Yarmouth on Cape Cod.
