0:21.6	American attorney Stephen Donziger, who's been on house arrest for more than 700 days
0:27.1	as a result of his involvement in the Chevron Ecuador case, was sentenced last week on Friday.
0:33.8	This court has already determined pre-trial that Mr. Donziger, if convicted, would not be
0:40.4	sentenced to more than six months in prison or a $5,000 fine.
0:45.1	Donziger was given the maximum a six month jail sentence despite having served, as I said,
0:51.7	more than 700 days on house arrest already.
0:54.8	This is the sentencing that Donziger and his team were expecting, and there are multiple
0:59.5	appeals underway already.
