I have to go think

about things I don't know anything about in Canada.

We are now six months in to our investigation of the notorious West Memphis 3 case.

Throughout the course of these months, I've made it abundantly clear that I have formulated

the opinion that Jesse Miskelli, Damien Eccles and Jason Baldwin are innocent of the murders

of Stevie Branch, Michael Moore and Christopher Buyers.

This case has had worldwide notoriety since 1996 when HBO's first documentary Paradise Lost

went live.

Since then, for the last 22 years, people from around the world have been developing their

own opinions on the case.

And now in 2018, there are thousands of people firmly rooted in either the innocent camp,

known by most as, quote, supporters, and the guilty camp, affectionately known as, quote,

non's.

As my interpretation of the evidence over these months has led me to the conclusion that

the West Memphis 3 are in fact innocent, we're going to take the next two weeks in an effort

to be fair and balanced, to let you hear from the other side.

In today's episode, you're going to hear the first half of an interview with a woman

named Lisa O'Brien.

Lisa is a longtime paralegal who also hosts her own podcast.

On Memorial Day, Lisa and I both took time away from our barbecues and ended up spending
