and unexplained with me, Daisy Egan. I was a different person when I started this podcast

back in 2020. Back then, I thought all ghost encounters could be explained away with carbon monoxide

readings. I thought UFOs were the stuff of Pulp Fiction and Star Trek fans, and I wasn't

afraid to fly. Here we are, it's 2025, and somehow it's been 84 years. My list of things to worry about

has grown exponentially along with my waistline. My gray hairs are evidence of a weariness about

the world around me. And my absolute conviction that planes and weather do not mix

has been solidified to a point where if I see there's a chance of rain,

I'm going to be like Dustin Hoffman and Rain Man and insist on driving.

And yes, I know both Hoffman and his portrayal of a man with autism are problematic,

but here we are.

Music of a man with autism are problematic, but here we are. I love a survival story. I'm endlessly fascinated by human beings' insistence on living.

I also love it when one seemingly tiny detail in a story ends up being the thing that saves the day.
