In last week's episode, I explained to all of you what my hypothesis is in regards

to the events that led up to the actual crime itself and the events immediately following

it.

In this week's episode, we're going to go in a completely different direction.

This episode will be different than most in the fact that you're not going to hear

from me hardly at all.

At this point in the investigation, I'm sure that that's a welcome change for a lot of

you, and I hope that maybe for some of you, you're going to miss hearing my voice.

But either way what we're going to do today is give all of you some insight into the

state's theory of the case.

What you're going to be presented with today is the motive for these murders as it was

presented at trial.

And rather than me explaining it to you, we're going to go a different route.

In today's episode, you're going to hear the full trial testimony of the state's expert

Dale Griffiths.

Griffiths appeared briefly in Paradise Lost Part 1, where we heard him explain that he believed

the motive behind these murders was a satanic occult ritual killing.

But the short blurb that you heard in that documentary hardly paints the entire picture.

This testimony actually went on for about an hour and a half.

And after putting a lot of thought into this, I've decided that the best way to present

this material to you in an unbiased way is to just play the trial testimony.
