We were talking in the last episode about troubled detectives.

Just to recap, we're doing a double bill on the real silence of the lambs.

And the second one is about the real Buffalo bill.

But we were talking about troubled detectives, and I have just finished a second outing for

what was formerly a detective sergeant in the Met called Abigail Boone.

And Abigail Boone first appeared in a book called Past Life by a really fine author called Dominic Nolan.

And Abigail Boone goes native and leaves the police, goes to jail and then gets out and takes it upon herself to she's uh i won't i'm not gonna

i'm not going to spoil the plots of either book um and takes it upon herself to take revenge

on her captors she was abducted at one point in the first book

and in the second book seeks to seeks revenge and it is it's very dark very gripping both books

...
