Summary

Thomas Harris is the creator of the character Dr Hannibal Lecter. In 2013 the author revealed that Lecter was actually based on a real person: Doctor Alfredo Trevino. Trevino was a well spoken psychologically complicated surgeon convicted of a brutal murder in the 1960s.
