listener emails. Okay. Hi Susie firstly congratulations on you and your wife

becoming parents I'm sat on the train

traveling for work and listening to your podcast. Firstly I feel like I have a friend I've

never met thanks to you in the podcast. I started listening at the beginning at the

first lockdown and it was something I look forward to each week.

I grew up in a small town in West Wales and it wasn't until I was 20 that I realized what my feelings are.

Only as I've got older I realized a massive part of my not knowing would have been Section 28.

I left 6th form in 2008 and there were no out people in my year at school, which is crazy thinking

about it now. You said a few weeks ago that on one of the

episodes that you use the term gay for yourself because you didn't like the word lesbian. I completely

resonated with you because growing up, even my mom asked a you a lesbian in a

a lesbian in a weird and judgmental voice.
