In this episode Kerry and his colleagues have a roundtable discussion on ritual purity. They delve into what it really was, what it wasn't, and how it teaches us about holiness, and how purity and holiness are different. They discuss the difference between spiritual purity and ritual purity. They also look into how it helps us understand that God knows we will sin and fall short, and has planned for it by the atoning sacrifice of His Son. Kerry spends time really exploring the Day of Atonement and what it was and the symbols behind it and how that can help us come to Christ and be reconciled with God and become holy and spiritually pure through Christ's atoning sacrifice. Then Kerry and Rabbi Jarrod Grover discuss the ritual of sacrificing the Red Heiffer and what it could do and how we can think about it and how it points towards Christ and His cleansing and purifying abilities.
