Then Kerry and Dr. Andrew Skinner explore how Israel provoked God and rejected Him, and what that may look like in our lives. Finally Kerry examines how we can learn about light from the story of Moses being with God.

0:32.1	american research center in egypt it's the big annual meeting i'm presenting at the meeting i also
0:36.9	just was in board meetings all day.

0:41.1	But we need to keep moving forward on the podcast.
0:43.3	So I'm recording this for my hotel room.
0:45.3	I hope that's okay with you, but my mind's wrapped around Egyptology stuff.
0:49.2	And that helps me as I think about the Exodus.
0:52.1	So this week for the regular episode, I'm going to start
0:55.9	out with me going through the important things in the first part of the reading. We're going to
1:01.4	talk about what happens at Mount Sinai and some problems Israel has, and also we're going to
1:07.7	look at the really sacred experience that many of them have. But then we're
1:13.6	going to move to what the majority of the people that I talked about and asked to talk about this
1:20.4	week, almost all of them felt like talking about Israel's problem with the golden calf was the
1:25.8	most important thing. And so we're going to spend a lot of time on that.
1:29.0	Andy Skinner and I are going to visit about it. Then I'm going to have, well, there's a roundtable discussion that we did on it. And then Paul Hoskison is going to give another take on it. I will have some different takes than some of my guests. It's slightly different. I agree with them. but I also have more things that I'm going to add here in this first part,
