that are in them. I'm your host, Kerry Milstein, and I'm so happy to have with me today, Camille

Frank Olson, who I count as a very dear friend and a mentor of sorts for me.

She was the department chair was just actually even before that, a mentor in our department

and then was the department chair and I was her associate chair and I cannot tell you how

much I learned not just about the scriptures, but about life and being a Christian and being able to be someone

who can navigate both just the tricky things of life and interacting with people with grace

and charity. I look up to Camille in so many ways. And so welcome, Camille. Thanks for being with us.

And Camille has, as I said, was the department chair of the department I'm in.

But why don't you tell us a little bit more about yourself, Camille?

Oh, I kind of stumbled into the whole profession of teaching religion.

It was not part of my plan,

but it has been just such a blessing to be able to study and teach scripture

for my entire adult life.

First, with seminary age students in the Salt Lake area,

and then Institute for a little while.

I was even there a little stint as a dean of students

at what was then LDS Business College and Institute up at the University

of Utah and then down at BYU for about 25 years.

And it's every aspect and age group and program that I got to teach in an institution that I,
