Scott, we're in Chronicles, Second Chronicles, Second Chronicles,

seven through nine today. And we've been talking a lot about the temple over the last several days.

It's going to continue today. But we also have a very well-known verse in scripture that comes in,

which, I mean, who would have thought? Like a really well-known verse comes out of Second Chronicles.

Right.

Yeah, we'll get there.

Yeah, Second Chronicles, 714.

But yeah, just kind of catch us up to speed.

You know, they've built the temple.

They've brought the ark into God's, you know, we talked about yesterday.

God's presence filled the temple, the cloud.

And then Solomon had this amazing prayer of dedication in yesterday's chapters.

Today we see God's response to Solomon's prayer.

You know, we saw back in chapter one, God had appeared to Solomon.

That's when he said, asked whatever you want.

Solomon asked for wisdom.

He appears to Solomon's second time here and assures

him that he heard the prayer that we looked at yesterday. He promises to bless Israel if they obey,

but he also warns about judgments if they disobey God. And that's where we come across that
