Hey, this is Shelby and Scott, and we're so glad that you join us day after day as we are walking through the Bible this year.

0:12.2

Don't forget to subscribe or follow if you haven't yet.

0:15.1

We'd love to have you stay with us because there's so much more to come in scripture, starting with today in Second

0:22.3

Chronicles 4 through 6. Scott, what's happening in these chapters? All right, so the temple is built

0:29.5

at last. We've been talking about the temple for a while now, I feel like. Solomon started building

0:34.7

it back in chapter 3, which included the construction of the most holy place.

0:39.3

1:19.7

And we saw this moment back in Kings already, but I love the very end of Chapter 5 here,

1:25.7

because when the ark is installed in the

1:27.5

most holy place, we read that the temple, the Lord's temple, was filled with a cloud. And because

1:33.7

of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering for the glory of the Lord filled

1:38.6

God's temple. Love, love, love that moment. And, you know, clouds, we remember that cloud often represents God's

1:46.0

presence. We saw on Mount Sinai when the cloud comes down. The cloud filled the tabernacle at the very,

1:51.7

very end of Exodus. Jesus is transfigured with some of his disciples. They're enveloped in a cloud
