And so a large part of what I focused on at the beginning was how do you go from zero knowledge to simply just plugging a box in and having that box discover everything that's inside of the environment?

And then also actively going out and sort of interrogating each individual device on the network to see if it speaks the protocols that you're looking for.

You know, those techniques can be used to really find the majority of these devices.

You know, I didn't want to start with an application and then work my way down the stack.

I wanted to start with the hardest problem, which was the integration piece and then work my way up to the

stack.

age, he was pulling things apart electronically and mechanically.

He's an avid snowboarder, usually shredding some snow at Mammoth Mountain, and a kite

surfer.
