We had a concept for how we wanted to show the amount of error budget that you've burned

and how quickly you've burned it.

You know, it's just how it fit our thought process at the time.

So we built an entire user interface around that.

And then as we started showing it to people, we noticed that they were confused by what we had built.

It wasn't until Alex Hidalgo joined the company and he said, well, you know, there's some other ways that we could represent this.

Like, have you thought about doing it this way that we realized we really missed the mark with the first version that we built?

Brian Singer has always been interested in computers.

He was into gaming in high school, which he claims is what led him to an engineering degree in college.

He got his start in the industry with low-level stuff, designing ASIC chips.

And post that, he branched into product development, got his MBA, and funny enough, started

working in marketing for the software industry.

Eventually, he started his own company.

From his professional journey, a big takeaway for him was it's hard to start a company fresh out of school, because you don't know anything.
