Walter Hooper, but we didn't want to leave you an entire week without a letter from Uncle Screw Tape,

which is why this episode is posting on a Wednesday. In today's episode, we had Dr. Crystal

Heard on the show to talk about one of screw tapes letters.

Unfortunately, the audio, we had some issues.

break down and discuss the works of CS-Lewis. This season, we are eavesdropping on the correspondence

of a senior demon, Screw Tate, as he explains how to tempt the patient, a human assigned to be

tempted by Screw Taped

nephew, Wormwood. Each week will be considering a different letter, untwisting screwtapes,

hellish logic, informing a battle plan for our spiritual lives. But this is going to be different.

Andrew and David are not with me. I have a special co-host, and this was

an individual that I had met on the CS-Lewis Symposium retreat in Montreat last year, and it is

Dr. Crystal Hurd. Dr. Crystal Hurd is an educator and researcher from Virginia,

where she lives with her husband and three dogs. Over the past decade, she has read and

researched both biographical and rhetorical aspects of C.S. Lewis. Her dissertation,

applied transformational leadership theory to his life in works.

She's currently working on a book titled The Leadership of C.S. Lewis, which will be published in 2021 by Winged Lion Press.
