So it's the end of October 2025, and this week marks the second anniversary of the release of what I thought would be the final episode of season four.

It was a season on the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri.

And when I started that season, it quickly became focused mostly on former interns and staff,

whistleblowers, who were flagging some pretty serious concerns about things like spiritual abuse

and the mishandling of sexual assault claims.

But if you were following along, the most shocking thing happened just the day before I published

the final regular season episode, which was episode 5.

IHop KC made a public announcement

that there were allegations now being made

about its founding leader specifically,

Mike Bickle.

She shared about the way IHOP mishandled and attempted to cover up her sexual assault claim against a member of staff.

In the fall of 2023, Mike Bickle was publicly accused of grooming sexual misconduct and abuse,

with allegations spanning years, multiple women, including minors, and including abuse of power that

was wrapped up in spiritual authority. He fabricated an entire prophetic history that allowed him to better abuse and control women.

We don't know how many Bickle survivors there are out there.

There are 17 that are public facing, and I think that there are dozens more.
