Welcome to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace.

This year, we want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through our study Christ and all of Scripture.

throughout the entire biblical story, but the center of it. Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of

a year in the Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm here with my co-host, Beth. Friends, so today we are jumping from the first chapters of the Bible to the final chapter

of the Bible. We are going to be looking at our annotations for Revelation 22-1-3 today.

Alexa, will you go ahead and read that passage for us?

Then he showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, down the middle of the city's main street.

The tree of life was on each side of the river bearing 12 kinds of fruit, producing its fruit every month.

The leaves of the tree are for healing the nations, and there will no longer be any curse.

The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city and his servants will

worship him. So Beth, how did it annotating this passage go for you? First, I just want to say how

much I love this passage. I think the imagery is just so beautiful. So I thought that I would kind of

just walk through all of that imagery and unpack it a little bit based on the context of this passage

and what I noticed in

these verses particularly. So the first image is a river, the river of life. The river is clear,

and it flows from Jesus's throne down through the city's main street. So now we see that this is

a city. I don't know about you, but when I read this, my mind pictures buildings and streets and

parks and castles and homes,
